Dr. Linda Jacobson is a 1971 graduate of the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She had owned her own practice in Brooklyn for over 45 years when she decided to semi-retire and concentrate only on the care of pets, which she very much enjoys. She has been very active in organized veterinary medicine, and has been the President of the Tuskegee Veterinary Medical Alumni Association, the Veterinary Medical Association of New York City, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the Board of Directors of the North American Veterinary Community. She has been given the Veterinarian of the Year Award and the Distinguished Life Service Award from both the New York City Veterinary Association and the New York State Veterinary Society. She also has been given the award of Distinguished Alumna from the Tuskegee Veterinary Medical Alumni Association.
Dr. Jacobson and her husband, Peter are the proud parents of 2 beautiful daughters, a delightful Dachshund, and two very entertaining cats.
