Dr. Lawrence Putter

Practice Owner/ Chief of Staff

In December 2004, Dr. Larry Putter assumed ownership of Lenox Hill Veterinarians. After working for 14 years in NYC, Dr. Putter decided to take on the exciting challenge of Practice ownership to better enable him to meet his patients many needs. Since then he has invested and greatly modernized Lenox Hill Veterinarians.

Dr. Larry Putter grew up between Bayside, Queens and Dutchess County, NY where his family had a country home. As a child Dr. Putter had many pets and developed a love for nature and science. He graduated with honors from McGill University. Dr. Putter then did research in neurosurgery at NY Hospital before attending Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Putter did a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in Surgery & Medicine for dogs, cats, and exotic animals.

Along with his wife, he spends time raising his son who is quite attached to their German Shepard “Max”. Some of Dr. Putter’s past times include traveling, skiing, scuba diving, and rock climbing.

Dr. Manuel Sanchez

Dr Sanchez has been part of the Lenox Hill Vets family for a long time. A natural of Lima, Peru he knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age. He attended San Marcos University where he graduated with honors in 2006.

After moving to New York, Dr Sanchez became a Licensed Veterinary Technician and got his first job as such here at Lenox Hill Veterinarians, where he worked for 4 years. He then headed to The Animal Medical Center where he worked for The Cancer Center, Emergency and Critical care and Surgery Department.

After finishing his certification process and obtaining his License as a Veterinarian, Dr Sanchez came back to LHV .

Dr Sanchez has a special interest in veterinary oncology and anesthesia.

Dr Sanchez spends his free time with his wife Regina and their wirehaired Dachshund Wuschel, he is a big fan of all types of music and enjoys going to concerts and also cooking, specially peruvian food.

Dr. Thomas DeVincentis

Upon graduating from The Ohio State University, Dr. Tom moved to New York City and established Country Vets where he practiced small animal medicine for over 25 years. Recently he has joined Lenox Hill Veterinarians and is happy to be affiliated with a great group of fellow doctors and coworkers.

He serves on the board of Circle of Generosity, a non profit charity, has written a book, Tails of the City, and is an avid equestrian. He lives with his elderly dog Kiki, saying she is in assisted living and he is her assistant.
